Broncbuster men seventh in Stillwater

Stillwater, OK-The Broncbuster men's team finished in seventh place at the Oklahoma State Rodeo over the weekend. The women did not place.
Luke Sullivan took the top spot in the long go of bull riding before being bucked off in the short go. He finished fifth in the average. Chris Dame was ninth in the long go but he also bucked off in the short and finished ninth in the average.
In team roping, Ean Price partnered with Northwestern Oklahoma State University's Taylor Munsell. They took fifth and sixth in the long go but recorded a no time in the short and placed fifth in the average. Price also made the short go in saddle bronc riding, finishing eighth in the long before splitting sixth and seventh in the shorth for a seventh-place average.
Trevor Meier won the long go in steer wrestling but broke out in the short go, receiving a 10-second penalty. He ended up finishing eighth in the short and eighth in average.
"We are getting some people back to the short go with good opportunities to capitalize," Head Coach Jim Boy Hash said. "We just need to get them to remember that the short go is just another opportunity to gather more points and not even have to beat out as many people to do it."
