Broncbusters place in top five in Fort Scott

Fort Scott, KS-The Broncbuster rodeo team competed in Fort Scott over the weekend.
The men's team finished fifth, while the women failed to get anyone into the short go.
For the men's squad, Bret Blackwood and Jake Anderson were ninth in the long go of team roping and second in the short. With several teams getting their steers caught in the short go, Blackwood and Anderson ended up finishing second in the average.
In saddle bronc riding, Ean Price was fourth in the long go before being bucked off in the short. He took fifth in the average.
Fort Scott won the men's event with Oklahoma Panhandle State coming in second.
In the women's competition, Kenzie Jones finished 11th in barrel racing.
