Broncbuster Track and Field NJCAA Men & Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships Recap:
Daniel Aboagye takes home the title of Central Regional Male Track Athlete of the Year.
Meryeme Mai earns double All-American Titles in the women's 5,000 meter with a new school record time of 18:01.00 placing 7th and in the 10,000 meter also improving her school record to 36:59.92 for a 4th place finish!
Rhet Punt wraps up his season with a 3rd place All-American finish in the men's hammer throw with a mark of 55.52 meters.
Day One:
Tomi Gall placed 20th in the women's hammer throw with a toss of 39.15 meters.
The men's 4x800 meter relay placed 11th with a time of 7:45.35. That team consisted of Andreas Laursen, Daniel Aboagye, Marc Corpus, and Lucas Goasmat.
Antonicia Moultrie placed 9th in the women's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.32.
Nicolo Caccamo placed 20th in the men's 400-meter hurdles with a new personal record of 54.36.
Day two:
Julian Francis placed 10th in the men's decathlon with a score of 5,822 points.
Lucas Goasmat placed 22nd in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:01.74.
Mekhila Sanders ran a new personal record and school record in the 100 meters with a time of 11.74 for a 17th place finish. Sanders also placed 12th in the 200 meters with a time of 24.04.
Beverlyne Kiptarus placed 23rd in the 800 meters with a new personal best of 2:21.35.
Daniel Aboagye placed 12th in the 800 meters with a time of 1:52.78.
Reid Harvey-McKean placed 19th in the 3000 meters steeplechase with a time of 12:27.17.
Day three:
Eyona Mangumta placed 13th in the men's discus with a mark of 43.97 meters.
The men's 4x4 (Nicolo Caccamo, Andreas Laursen, Carson Schmidt, and Myron Miller) placed 23rd with a time of 3:29.84.
The women's 4x400 meter (Mekhila Sanders, Antonicia Moultrie, Priscilla Rose Wemba, and Beverlyne Kiptarus) placed 16th with a new season's best of 4:02.73.
