Broncbuster men compete at Wichita State
Wichita, KS-The Broncbuster men competed at the Wichita State Invite on Saturday.
Jabrionne Bacon posted a top 10 time in the 200 meter finals with a time of 23.32 seconds; less than a second behind Emporia State's Malcolm Dade, who finished ninth. Lucas Santos and Tre McClary came in 14th and 15th respectively.
Manuel Hallum placed 11th in the 400 meters, Oscar Guzman and Edgar Avalos were sixth and seventh in the 1000 meters, and Ruben Huerta finished fourth in the pole vault with a distance of 14 feet, 7.5 inches. Brett Oden placed sixth in the shot put.
"The men competed really hard this weekend, and some of them had never run before," Head Coach Doug Marshall said.
The Broncbusters return to action Saturday at the Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg.
