Nationally-ranked Broncbuster men send more to nationals at Pitt State
The 18th-ranked Broncbuster men made their presence felt once again at the Pittsburg State Invitational.
James Liburd and Quincy Watts continue to turn heads during the winter season.
Liburd qualified for nationals in the 200-meter dash, placing 11th with a time of 21.83. Watts finished finished 2nd in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.25 and also qualified for nationals. He was also 21st in the 200 meters and 5th in the long jump.
Other finishers: Tre McClary came in 58th in the 60-meter dash; Johnathan Challenger was 16th in the 200-meter dash, Anthony Dawson was 18th in the 400-meter dash; Rodney Henry finished 10th in the 600-yard run while Jesus Reyes and Dominick Castillo came in 33rd and 34th respectively. Frank Bearden was 18th in the 800-meter run
