Garden City, KS-This one got physical.
Bastien Dechamps scored twice, and Dodge City completed a season sweep of Garden City with a 2-0 victory Wednesday night at Broncbuster Stadium. The loss dropped the Broncbusters to 6-12 overall and 1-8 in conference play.
In a match that saw five cards handed out including a red to Dodge City's Yanis Debbarh, who threw an elbow at Cristobal Sanchez in the 57th minute, the Conquistadors were the aggressor all night. The second half was played mostly on Garden City's side of the field with that pressure finally getting to Branko Kanacki, who surrendered the first goal in the 54th minute of the match. 15 minutes later, Dechamps struck again.
The Broncbusters lost the match despite outshooting Dodge City, 14-13. Kanacki had two saves.
