Anderson and Moore Coming on Strong
Garden City, KS-Brady Trenkle's Busters defeated Seward County 89-83 and improve to 17-12 overall and 6-9 in the Jayhawk West. Seward County is 14-13 overall and 7-7 in league play.
The Busters placed five players in double figures with Tyrell Springer leading the way netting 22 points. Antorian Moore poured in 17 points and Jeremee Bennett added 13. Johnathan Bell and Davon Anderson contributed 11 and 10 respectively.
The Busters despite trailing by five at the half, controlled the boards snagging 42 compared to Seward County's 20. Garden City had eleven offensive boards and Seward had one.
The Saints were led by Secan Johnson with a game high 27 points and Kevin Sims popped in 19. The Saints shot 46% from the field and Garden City shot 52%.
The Busters will travel to Dodge City Saturday for a 3:00 PM tip off to conclude regular season play. Dodge City is 16-12 overall and 6-8 in the West. Garden City defeated Dodge earlier this season 86-71.
