Garden City finishes No. 9 in final NJCAA Poll

Garden City, KS-For the third time in four years, Garden City finished the season in the top 10 of the final NJCAA poll released on Monday, coming in at No. 9.
The Broncbusters have now been ranked in 29 straight polls and 44 out of the last 48. And despite not playing in a bowl game for the first time since 2015, Garden City moved up one spot from the final regular-season rankings.
Garden City had a year, notching wins over four teams that finished in the top 20, including two in the top five: No. 3 Hutchinson and No. 4 Iowa Western.
The Broncbusters finished No. 1 in 2016, 13th in 2017 and No. 2 in 2018.
National Champion Mississippi Gulf Coast topped the polls for the seventh straight week while runner-up Lackawanna finished second. Butler came in fifth, and Independence was eighth.
