More recognition; Broncbuster defense leads all-region team
Garden City, KS-Broncbuster football dominated all season long. So it was no surprise that they owned the All-Region selections.
Running back Tra Minter was named to the Region-VI first team offense. The redshirt freshman currently leads the nation in rushing yarrds and is coming off a career-best 234-yard performance vs. Fort Scott in the regular-season finale on Saturday.
On defense, last year's national player of the year Jeremy Faulk along with fellow defensive lineman Jamie Tago, linebacker Delshawn Phillips, who had a season-high 15 tackles vs. Fort Scott, and defensive backs Mike Hughes, Bryan Blunt and Eddie Williams were all named to the first team. Hughes was recently named the conference player of the year.
