Broncbusters split first two with Indian Hills
Garden City, KS-Corbin Truslow continued his early-season onslaught.
Truslow hit his third and fourth home runs of the season, Austin Stone struck out six, and Garden City split their first two games with Indians Hills, winning game one 10-2 before dropping the finale 14-5 Friday afternoon at Williams Stadium.
In game one, the Broncbusters went to work early, more specifically Truslow did, mashing a three-run homer to put Garden City up 3-0.

Then the seas opened in the sixth.
With the bases juiced, Truslow struck again, pulverizing a 1-1 fastball over the fence in right for a grand slam and a 10-2 advantage.
While Truslow provided the offense, Stone was superb on the bump. The sophomore scattered just four hits in five innings, allowing two runs and striking out six. He improved to 3-1.

In the second game, Jacob Garza got the start and struggled early, giving up four runs, three of those in the top of the first.

The Warriors then put the game away with six runs over the final three innings as the Garden City bullpen, consisting of Ryan Nason, Scott Waterman, Paxton Robinson and Aaron Peach yielded a combined 10 runs on nine hits.
Caleb Miley picked up the win for Indian Hills, allowing just one run in 4.2 innings of relief.
