Garden City, KS-Chris Finnegan's Busters improved to 7-0 downing Indian Hills Community College 12-7. Garden City improves to 8-0 on the season and is 7-0 at home. Game I was the season opener for Indian Hills.
First Baseman Kyle Lopez led the Busters highlighted by solo homerun in the bottom of the third. Lopez hit pay dirt in the first inning with an RBI double. Lopez finished game I going 3-4 at the dish, including a solo triple in the bottom of the sixth and 3 RBI's.
CJ Krainock was productive driving in three RBI's including a three run homer in the bottom of the third. Leadoff batter Aeneas Roberson went 3-4 at the plate and scored two runs.
Indian Hills was led by Jacob Rhinesmith going 2-2 from the dish and he scored three runs. Game II of the four game series will start at 3:40 PM.
