Busters Split Twin Bill Against NMMI
Game 4 Cancelled Due to Inclement Weather
Roswell, NM-Garden City split today's twin bill losing game two 14-4 and winning game three 6-5. The Busters lead the four game series 2-1 defeating NMMI in game one 6-0 Friday evening.
In game two the Broncos tallied fourteen runs to Garden City's four. The Broncos manufactured fifteen hits while Garden City posted eight.
The Busters scored one run in the third, two in the fourth and produced one more run in the fifth before giving up four runs in the bottom of the fifth to suffer their second loss on the season.
The Buster would fight back in game three coming back to win 6-5 after trailing 5-1 through three. Garden City would score one run in each of the next five innings to win the game.
Garden City got a solid performance in game three from Patrick Mixon. Mixon went 2-4 scored one run and tallied two RBI'S. Shortstop Brennan Cascio went 2-3 at the dish scored two runs and added an RBI.
Garden City is now 8-2. Tomorrow's game with NMMI is cancelled due to inclement weather.
