Busters Drop First of Four to Falcons

Garden City, KS-The Garden City Community College Broncbusters
could not get their bats going dropping the first game of a four
game series to the Indian Hills Falcons 6-1. Garden City had
five hits and two errors on the day while Indian Hills had twelve
hits and three errors.
The Falcons (1-0) scored their first run in the top of the first.
Garden City tied the game in the bottom of the third. Dalton
Cook singled with one out followed by a Tyler
Tucker single. Cale
Dineen reached base on an error loading the bases. Rocky
Desantis also reached base on an error with the Falcons trying
to turn out the double play. It was the second consecutive error by
the Falcons trying to get the double play. The error enabled Cook
to score. Kaleb
Zimmer ended the inning hitting into a double play. That
would be Garden City's last and only run of the day.
The Falcons went on to score one run in the fifth and sixth innings
and tallied two in the seventh. The Falcons ended their
scoring in the eighth with one run. Garden City will resume
the series tomorrow at 1pm and game three will start at 3pm.
The Busters close out the series with game four. First pitch
Sunday is at noon.
