Garden City, KS-The Garden City Community College Broncbusters
picked up their second win of the day defeating Indian Hills
Community College 6-0 in game three of the four game series.
Chris
Bonk earned the win for the Busters by going six scoreless
innings with six strikeouts. Garden City got on the board in
the bottom of the first with two unearned runs.
Garden City picked up a third run in the bottom of the
fourth. Freshman Francisco
Alvarez was hit by a pitch to reach base. A Zach
Barton double advanced Alvarez to third and he scored on a
passed ball. The Busters picked up three runs in the bottom of the
sixth. Cale
Dineen was walked and Triffon
Tatarin was hit by a pitch. Alvarez reached base on a bunt
loading the bases. With no outs Barton hit a sacrifice fly
and scored Dineen, 4-0 Busters. Tatarin scored the fifth run for
the Busters on a passed ball. Tyler
Tucker reached base on an error scoring Tatarin. Tyler
Alitz then grounded out scoring Alvarez 6-0 Busters. Rocky
Desantis grounded out to end the inning.
Relief Pitcher Josh
Thomas replaced Chris
Bonk. Thomas gave up one hit but it was not enough for the
Falcons as the Busters ended the game with a double play from
Dineen to Desantis.
